Introduction

Strumble Head is one of the most dramatic places in Pembrokeshire, the rugged coastline is the closest point to Ireland and the views are spectacular. The Pembrokeshire Coastal Path is within easy walking distance of this holiday cottage.

The area is well-known for sightings of rare birds and seals as well as an abundance of wild flowers and free range ponies. There is an excellent observatory on the headland as well as the photogenic lighthouse.

Within a 10 to 30 minutes drive of this holiday cottage there are a selection of beaches including the smugglers coves of Abermawr and Aberbach and the larger beaches of Newport, Whitesands and Newgale.

Goodwick, Fishguard, St Davids, Porthgain, Newport and the Preseli Hills are all within easy reach of the cottage making it a perfect base for exploring.

The Accommodation

The entrance opens into the hallway and leads into the open plan LOUNGE/KITCHEN and DINER, which is light and airy and welcoming.

LOUNGE area has an oak  floor and is furnished with a comfortable sofa and chairs, TV, DVD, well stocked bookshelves and items of occasional furniture.

The patio doors lead off the lounge onto a DECKED AREA perfect for an alfresco meal, or to watch the sunset over the sea after a walk on the coastal path.

The KITCHEN area is well equipped with solid wooden units, tiled floor, electric hob, built in oven, microwave oven, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and automatic washing machine.  There is a breakfast bar and four stools for dining.

The MASTER BEDROOM contains a pine double bed with bedside tables, wardrobe, dressing table and wall mounted TV.
There is an EN-SUITE SHOWER ROOM with shower cubicle, wash hand basin and WC.

BEDROOM 2 has twin beds bedside chest, chest of drawers and wardrobe as well as a wall mounted TV.

The FAMILY BATHROOM contains bath, hand held shower over bath, hand basin and WC.

Garden and Parking

In addition to the previously described decked area, there is a lawn and patio area to the rear of the cottage which is enclosed for children.

Garden furniture is provided.

There is ample parking to the side of the cottage.

Other Information

Fuel included - There is full oil central heating throughout the cottage and all electricity and oil are included in the rental.

A travel cot and highchair are provided.

Towels charged at £5 per guest please pay at the cottage.

The beds will be made up with fresh linen for your arrival.

WiFi enabled.

One small and well behaved pet is welcome.  Please let us know the breed.
