The Accommodation

Ground Floor

The well equipped modern farmhouse KITCHEN has a slate tiled floor and is fitted with a range of cream Shaker style units. There is an electric oven and hob, side by side fridge and freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and a microwave oven.

A door leads through to the UTILITY ROOM which has a SHOWER, WC and hand basin.
Both the utility and shower rooms have external doorways to the garden area - perfect after a walk or a beach outing.

A couple of steps lead down from teh kitchen to the large DINING ROOM which has an ornamental fireplace and an antique dining table with 6 chairs.

The spacious SITTING ROOM has a welcoming wood burning stove and slate floor with rug.
It is furnished with 2 comfortable leather sofas, occasional furniture, coffee table, TV, DVD, writing desk and chair and a bookcase with a selection of books and games.

First Floor

A wooden staircase leads from the sitting room up to the 3 farmhouse bedrooms.

The MASTER BEDROOM has a fantastic exposed beamed ceiling and enjoys views over the moorland.
It is furnished with a king size bed, bedside tables with lamps, dressing table, wardrobe and a chair.

The BEDROOM 2 has twin beds, wardrobe, bed side tables with lamps, dressing table and a chair.

BEDROOM 3 has a single bed, bedside table with lamp, antique dressing table and wardrobe.

The family BATHROOM has a white suite of bath, WC, hand basin and heated towel rail.

Beds will all be made up with fresh linen for your arrival and towels are included in the rental (please bring your own beach towels).

Garden and Parking

There is a large walled garden to the side of the house with a big lawn area perfect for barbecues or playing games. 
A garden table and chairs are provided for al-fresco meals.

Parking for up to three cars.

Other Information

There is underfloor heating and the woodburning stove.

A complimentary basket of logs are provided for the start of your holiday, more may be purchased locally.

A standard cot, highchair and stairgate are available on request.

No smoking in the farmhouse.

Up to 2 well behaved pets are welcome.  Please make sure they are controlled at all times as farmland surrounds the house.

Next to reference 538 which accommodates 2/3 people and has a double locked interconnecting door should larger parties wish to book both properties.

The Setting

The spacious farmhouse nestles under Garnfawr a huge rocky outcrop above Pwllderi in Pembrokeshire from the top of which you can see to St Davids, the Preseli Hills and even Ireland on a very clear day.

Strumble Head is stunningly beautiful and a great place for walking and watching wildlife including seals, porpoises, dolphins and migrating birds.

Goodwick Sands and Fishguard are 10 minutes by car and offer shops, restaurants and pubs. St Davids with its magnificent cathedral and Newport with its lovely beaches are well worth visiting for their selection of individual shops, eateries and galleries and are within a half hour drive.

If you like walking, there are 186 miles of coastal path to enjoy and the coastal bus service passes close by. You can walk right from the house along the bridle/footpath to the coast if you prefer.

The Farmhouse dates back to 1795 and retains charm and character with all the modern comforts you could want.
