This spacious three storey family home is in the heart of the popular seaside town of Newport, North Pembrokeshire.
Newport has an excellent selection of eateries, small shops, galleries and pubs as well as a weekly Local Producers Market.
A short walk leads you to Parrog beach, a favourite with children, boating enthusiasts or those with time to enjoy the glorious view.
Parrog beach is also dog friendly if you are bringing your dogs, as is the coastal path.
Traeth Mawr (Big Beach) can be walked to at low tide by crossing the estuary (with care) or you can take the longer route around the Nevern Estuary bird sanctuary and the coastal path.
Carningli Mountain is the back drop for Newport making it picture perfect and the views from the top are magnificent.
Entrance is off the pavement and into the hallway.
To the right is the long KITCHEN & DINING ROOM with agas fire, slate tiled floor, high beamed ceiling and exposed brick and stonework.
The kitchen has a good range of fitted Shaker style cupboards, built in oven, hob, American style fridge/freezer with ice, separate small freezer and microwave.
The dining area has a fireplace, dining table and 12 chairs.
There is a UTILITY ROOM off with a washing machine and a compact wet room shower with WC.
There is a tumble dryer in an external store shed.
The spacious SITTING ROOM is a happy marriage of contemporary style and traditional features with exposed beams, stone walls, wood floors and an electric woodburner style stove.
There are bright mustard armchairs and footstools, 2 large and comfy sofas, coffee tables, floor lamps, TV with freesat, DVD player and a bookcase with a selection of books, games and DVDs for all ages.
The stripped pine staircase leads to the two upper floors where there are 5 bedrooms.
At the top of the house is the MASTER SUITE which occupies the original attic space is decorated in coastal colours and has sloped A frame beams with velux windows giving sea views.
The master suite is furnished with a Super king 6' bed, bedside tables with lamps, chest of drawers and built-in low wardrobes as well as a director's desk and chair if you feel you need to work!
At the other end of the room is a sofa (which converts to a bed for occasional use) and a velux cabrio balcony window.
There is a modern EN-SUITE SHOWER ROOM with WC and hand basin.
BEDROOM 2 is furnished with a king size bed, bedside tables with lamps, dressing table and wardrobe.
BEDROOM 3 is furnished with twin beds, bedside tables with lamps and a wardrobe.
BEDROOM 4 is furnished with two sets of bunk beds perfect for children, small desk and a wardrobe.
BEDROOM 5 is furnished with a single bed, bedside table with lamp and a wardrobe.
The FAMILY BATHROOM has a contemporary suite of bath tub, shower cubicle, WC and hand basin.
Garden & Parking
There is a good size garden to the rear with attractive plants and shrubs in slate borders.
Slate steps lead to a large table with seating for 8 (perfect for al-fresco meals) as well as a rattan sofa seating area for 8 with coffee table which is perfect for drinks and chatting.
A barbecue is provided.
There is no allocated parking with this house but on street parking is available in the town or you can use one of the town car parks (both a 5 minute walk).
Heating and electricity is included in the rental.
A travel cot and highchair are available on request.
All the beds are made up with fresh linen for your arrival.
Towels are available to hire at £5 per guest, payable when booking.
2 well behaved dogs are welcome (£25 per week each) but must be kept downstairs and off furnishings. Please ask first if you would like to bring more.
No smoking in the house.
