Llys y Gwynt (Court of the wind) enjoys a stunning location at the foot of Carningli Mountain with panoramic views of the Nevern Estuary and Newport Bay.
Newport is known as the Pearl of the Pembrokeshire coastline and rightly so.
There are two lovely beaches; Traeth Mawr (big beach) with a long stretch of silver sand for walks, good bathing water, rock pools and caves and Parrog beach which is smaller and very pretty with colourful cottages and bobbing boats.
It's a great spot for crabbing and at low tide the brave can wade across the estuary to the big beach.
Newport also has a fabulous selection of eateries to suit every palate and purse and a good selection of individual local shops including galleries, butcher, fishmonger, chemist, newsagent, wholefood shop and a local producer's street market on a Monday.
The 186 mile long Pembrokeshire coastal path can be joined at Newport.
This superb detached house makes a stylish holiday retreat for families and groups of friends. The property is light, airy and contemporary in style with tiled floors throughout the ground floor and high quality furnishings and fittings throughout.
Entrance is into the hallway and through to the large open plan living and dining room with tiled floor and wood burning stove.
The SITTING AREA is furnished with three white leather sofas, armchair, footstool, coffee table, sideboard and TV with DVD player.
The DINING AREA has a large oak dining table and 10 chairs. One wall of this room is made of glass with bi-fold doors that completely open up to the superb SEA VIEW TERRACE with glass balustrade so that you can enjoy the outside inside and the inside outside. It's a perfect place to dine al-fresco or watch the sunset while enjoying a glass of wine with good company.
There are also glazed patio doors leading to the REAR TERRACE with steps leading up to the lawn.
The KITCHEN leads off the dining area and has a range of grey high gloss units with Range style cooker with electric oven with 5 ring electric ceramic hob, microwave, American fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, BREAKFAST BAR with 4 stools and a WALK IN LARDER.
A small hall leads to the downstairs CLOAKROOM with WC and hand basin and a tumble dryer with £1 coin meter.
There are two bedrooms on the ground floor.
BEDROOM 1 has a double bed, bedside chests with lamps, chest and a discreet TV inside the glass sliding door to the wardrobe.
BEDROOM 2 is suitable for semi-ambulant guests with double doors leading in. It is furnished with a double bed, bedside chests with lamps, chest, TV, chair and double glass doors leading out to the sea view terrace.
There is a GROUND FLOOR WET ROOM with shower, WC and hand basin. An oak staircase leads to three more bedrooms with oak floors, sloped ceilings and dormer windows affording views of the Nevern estuary and Newport Bay.
BEDROOM 3 has a double bed, bedside chests with lamps, wardrobe, chest, chair, TV and an EN-SUITE with walk in shower, WC and hand basin.
BEDROOM 4 also has a double bed, bedside chests with lamps, wardrobe, chest and chair and an EN-SUITE shower, WC and hand basin. BEDROOM 5 has two single beds, bedside chest and wardrobe.
There is a FAMILY BATHROOM with suite of bath with hand held shower, WC and hand basin.
Garden and Parking
Glass bi-fold doors open right up from the sitting and dining area to the large sea view terrace with a glass balustrade and panoramic views over the Nevern Estuary and Newport Bay.
At the rear is a terrace with garden furniture and a barbecue. Steps lead up to the sloped lawn.
There is an outside hot shower for rinsing sand off.
Ample parking for up to 5 cars.
There is oil fired heating throughout with underfloor heating (on 24/7) for the ground floor and radiators (timed 2hrs am and 2 hrs pm) upstairs which is included in the rental. If you require full 24/7 upstairs heating as well as the above it is charged at £10 per day - please pay the owner. Solar panels assist hot water.
One complimentary basket of logs for the woodburning stove is provided, more are available locally.
All beds will be made up with fresh linen for your arrival.
Towels are not provided, please bring your own.
A travel cot, highchair, stairgate and fireguard are available.
A £200 bond is required for every booking.
