Set at the mouth of the river Nevern with Carningli Mountain (The Mount of Angels) with the medieval church and castle as a back drop; Newport has it all!
The Pembrokeshire Coastal Path can be joined just 5 minutes' walk away at the Iron Bridge on the upper reaches of the estuary where many different varieties of wading birds are spotted on a daily basis.
There is a lovely walk to the Parrog which has a small beach and boat club.
Traeth Mawr - the "big beach" is a 20 minute walk away and offers a mile and a half of silver sand with rock pools, dunes, cliffs all backed by the 18 hole links golf course.
This fabulous stone house is just a few minutes' walk from a butcher, baker, deli, general store and a selection of welcoming pubs and eateries serving excellent food.
Entrance is into the contemporary and large OPEN PLAN KITCHEN/DINING AND SITTING ROOM with tiled floors and superb full height glass panels and sliding glass doors opening right out to the patio and garden.
The stylish KITCHEN has been fitted with a range of high gloss units and has a tiled floor.
There is an eye level double electric oven and a 5 burner gas hob, American style freezer, under-counter fridge and dishwasher.
There is an adjoining UTILTY ROOM with washing machine, tumble dryer and microwave.
There is a dining table with comfortable dining chairs.
The sitting area has a corner sofa and a unit housing a SMART TV.
There is also a cosy SNUG room which is perfect for relaxing away from the rest of the crowd; it has a log burning stove and is furnished with comfortable sofas, coffee table and a TV.
BEDROOM 1 is on the ground floor and is furnished with a king size bed, bedside tables with lamps, wardrobe and wall mounted TV.
There is a SHOWER ROOM with shower cubicle, WC and hand basin and baby changing unit.
Upstairs there are a further 3 bedrooms.
BEDROOM 2 is the MASTER suite and has a king size bed, bedside tables, dressing table with drawers, wardrobe and wall mounted TV.
There is an EN-SUITE SHOWER ROOM with shower cubicle, WC and hand basin.
BEDROOM 3 has twin beds, bedside table with lamp, clothes hanging rack and wall mounted TV with integral DVD player.
BEDROOM 4 has twin beds, bedside tables, chest of drawers, wardrobe and TV with integral DVD player. There is an en-suite shower room with shower, WC and hand basin.
The Family BATHROOM has a suite of bath, WC and hand basin.
There is an outbuilding with a pub style pool table, dartboard, board games and some basic gym equipment for guests enjoyment.
Garden & Parking
A resin tarmacked and gated drive to the side of the house provides parking for up to 4 cars.
There is a large garden with lawn and resin patio area and attractive borders planted with flowers and mature shrubs.
There is a garden table and chairs and a brick built barbecue for al-fresco meals.
There is full heating throughout the property; with radiators upstairs and underfloor heating downstairs.
One complimentary basket of logs is supplied for the wood burning stove and more are available locally.
Electricity and gas are included from May to September and charged for at a flat rate of £35 per week at all other times.
All the beds are made up with fresh linen and a hairdryer is supplied in each bedroom.
A Travel cot, highchair, stairgate and baby changing unit (in downstairs shower room) are available.
Towels are available to hire at £5 per guest (1 large bath towel and 1 hand towel each and strictly not for beach use).
All extras are payable to the owner while on holiday please.
