Introduction

This very comfortable white washed cottage is situated in a quiet lane in the lovely coastal market town of Newport.

Within a few minutes' walk of the cottage are beaches, eateries to suit every taste and pocket, individual shops, galleries and pubs.

There is a weekly (Monday) local producer's market.

The Pembrokeshire coastal path is just a few minutes' walk away and offers 186 miles of spectacular walking and scenery.

This traditional cottage offers period charm and features with contemporary style and the modern comfort and conveniences we all enjoy; it really is a lovely place from which to explore Newport, the National Park, Pembrokeshire coast and Preseli mountains.

The Accommodation

Entrance is into the open plan SITTING & DINING ROOM with painted panelling, exposed beams and mellow stone walls.

The sitting room has a woodburning stove, comfortable sofa, easy chairs, occasional tables, sideboard, TV, DVD and CD/radio.

The dining area has a stylish dining table with 6 director's chairs, side table, corner cupboard and a winged armchair.

The galley KITCHEN has a range of fitted cupboards with electric double oven, gas hob, fridge and microwave oven.

The adjacent UTILITY ROOM has a washing machine, tumble dryer, freezer and a shower cubicle - perfect for washing sand off after a dip.

The FAMILY BATHROOM is downstairs and comprises a corner bath, WC and hand basin.

There is also a separate CLOAKROOM with WC and hand basin.

The staircase leads to 3 bedrooms.

BEDROOM 1 has a king size bed, bedside tables, chest of drawers with mirror and built in wardrobe.

BEDROOM 2 leads off bedroom 1 and is ideal for children. It has a sloped ceiling, two single beds and clothes storage.

BEDROOM 3 has two single beds, bedside tables with lamps, chest of drawers with mirror, built in wardrobe and a chair.

All the beds will be made up with fresh linen for your arrival.

Garden & Parking

The garden is accessed off the first floor landing and is situated to the rear and right of the cottage.

The lawned garden has mature hedges and trees surrounding.

It is enclosed for most dogs and children.

There are lovely distant sea views over the rooftops of Newport.

A garden table and chairs are provided for al-fresco dining.

There are 2 private parking spaces about 50 yards from the cottage.  There is also a lockable stone shed for bikes & surfboards (used at your own risk).

Other Information

There is gas central heating throughout.

This is included in the rental from May to September and charged for at a flat rate of £35 per week at all other times. Payable when booking.

A complimentary basket of logs are provided and more are available from the local hardware shop and garages.

A cot and highchair are available on request.

Towels are available to hire at £5 per guest.

WiFi enabled.

Up to 3 well behaved dogs are welcome, a refundable good housekeeping deposit of £100 is payable for bookings with 2 or more dogs.

No smoking.
