This comfortable wing of a renowned local landmark - Clare House - is in the hamlet of Landshipping.
It is located about half a mile (10 minutes' walk) from the foreshore of the Cleddau Estuary known as the 'Secret Waterway'. Across the Estuary is Picton Castle with it's splendid gardens and grounds.
It is a short drive to the rather chic and bohemian town of Narberth with its range of boutiques, galleries, delis and eateries.
Tenby with its magnificent beaches and kaleidoscope of brightly painted Georgian buildings hugging the harbour wall is about 25 minutes by car.
Don't forget the Pembrokeshire coastal path, magnificent beaches, coves and bays while you are here!
Entrance is into the hallway with space for boots and coats and through to the KITCHEN which has a range of fitted cupboards, electric cooker, fridge with freezer compartment, dishwasher and microwave oven.
The owner offers shared use of a washer/dryer in an outbuilding.
The spacious SITTING AND DINING ROOM has a wooden floor and a log burning stove set against an exposed natural stone wall. The sitting area has two comfy leather sofas, TV with DVD, nest of tables and the dining area has a table and 4 chairs in the bay window.
Upstairs there are two attractive bedrooms.
BEDROOM 1 has a double bed, Melin Tregwynt throw, bedside tables with lamps, wardrobe, trunk, Lloyd loom chair and a chest of drawers with mirror.
BEDROOM 2 has twin beds, painted tall-boy and bedside tables with lamps.
All the beds are made up with fresh linen for your arrival and towels are included too.
The large BATHROOM is very spacious and has a full suite of bath, separate shower cubicle, WC and wash basin.
Garden and Parking
There is a gated gravel courtyard beside the property with a garden table, 4 chairs and a barbecue making it perfect for al-fresco dining.
Parking is opposite in the owners off road parking area. There is also a large shed to store bikes if required.
There is central heating throughout, the electricity in parts is powered by solar panels.
There is no charge for heating and electricity.
A complimentary basket of logs is provided for the log burner and more are available at reasonable cost from the owner.
A cot, highchair and stairgate are provided.
Towels are included in the rental.
WiFi is available on request - please ask owner when on holiday.
