This spacious and very comfortable large family holiday home is ideally situated within a short walk of Parrog beach, the coastal path and the delightful seaside town of Newport in north Pembrokeshire. Just a few minutes' walk will take you to the heart of the town with its excellent range of small individual shops, galleries, restaurants and pubs.
Another short walk leads you down to The Parrog - a favourite with children, boating enthusiasts and those with time to enjoy its tranquil and ever-changing setting. With two beautiful beaches, a bird sanctuary in the estuary and direct access to the coastal path, Newport really feels as though it does have it all but don't forget the Preseli Hills and the Gwaun Valley.
The house affords glimpses of the coast and is close enough to hear the sea.
With views of the garden and down towards the sea half a mile away, the large kitchen and dining room is at the heart of the house.
The KITCHEN area has a range cooker with gas hob and electric ovens/grill, dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer and plenty of work space and storage.
The DINING area has a wood dining table and 6 high back chairs (additional chairs plus high chair are available and stored in utility room).
Off the dining area is a cosy SNUG/SITTING ROOM with woodburning stove, 2 comfy sofas and side tables.
Leading off the spacious HALL is the MAIN SITTING ROOM/PARLOUR with feature fireplace, bay window, 2 comfy stettees, armchair, TV with Freesat and recorder, DVD player, coffee table and occasional furniture.
There is a UTILITY ROOM with access from the drive and garden next to the kitchen with a washing machine and a small additional fridge. There is plenty of space to store beach gear, wellies, wet dogs, coats etc.
CLOAKROOM with WC and hand basin.
BEDROOM 1 has a king size bed, bedside tables, clock radio, and chest of drawers with mirror. The DRESSING AREA has a large wardrobe and leads to the EN-SUITE SHOWERROOM with modern walk in shower, WC and hand basin.
BEDROOM 2 has a double aspect and is furnished with a double bed, bedside tables with lamps, a large fitted wardrobe and a mirror. Sea glimpses from Bedroom 1 and 2.
BEDROOM 3 has a single bed, bedside table with lamp, under-bed and wall storage.
There is a spacious, attractive FAMILY BATHROOM with suite of large bath, walk in shower, WC and hand basin.
BEDROOM 4 is a great space for children/teens and families being large, light and airy with stripped pine floor, whitewashed walls, exposed beams, sea and hill views and furnished with 3 single beds, bedside tables, futon (no bedding or linen provided), chest of drawers and large wardrobe.
Linen is provided for all the beds.
Garden and Parking
French doors lead from the dining room onto the drive and an attractive enclosed lawned garden with borders to the side of the property.
Small patio with seating and a larger paved patio with views to the coast. Garden furniture and BBQ provided.
Off road parking for 2 cars and/or a boat.
There is full gas central heating throughout the house (attic room has wall-mounted convector heater). This is included in the rental from May to September and charged for at a flat rate of £35 a week at all other times - please pay when booking. Logs for the woodburning stove are available locally.
Towels are available to hire at £5 per guest - please bring own beach towels.
2 Pets are welcome.
A travel cot and high chair are available - please request on booking.
