Introduction

Enjoying superb views over the River Teifi, this very comfortable detached architect designed bungalow offers excellent holiday accommodation, in the quaint riverside village of St Dogmaels in north Pembrokeshire.

The well-kept garden offers a pretty paved seating area, ideal for a BBQ and perfect for admiring the superb views of the River Teifi estuary.

Within walking distance of the property is one of Pembrokeshire's most beautiful historical attractions, the ancient St Dogmaels Abbey ruins and adjacent Coach House Heritage Centre. There is also a working water mill and tea room where you can enjoy fresh homemade produce, a choice of riverside inns and restaurants and a weekly farmers' market.

Also within walking distance is Cardigan castle, Cardigan market town and the Pembrokeshire coastal path.

The Accommodation

Entrance is into the KITCHEN & DINING ROOM which has lovely views of the garden and the river Teifi beyond. There is a slate tiled floor and a fitted Shaker style kitchen incorporating an electric oven with hob, dishwasher, fridge with freezer compartment and microwave. The dining area has a table and 6 chairs.

The SITTING ROOM has an attractive fireplace with a woodburning stove. Some very high windows allow light to flood in and huge patio doors lead to the garden. The room has a parquet floor and is furnished with two comfortable leather sofas, chair, coffee table and a 32" TV with DVD player.

There are 3 bedrooms.

BEDROOM 1 has a super-king 6' bed which can be separated into 2 x 3'singles (request when booking), there is a wardrobe, chest of drawers, chairs and views towards the river. There is a small en-suite WC and wash basin. A door leads to the garage with washing machine and tumble dryer and ample space for surf boards, bikes etc.

BEDROOM 2 has a king size double bed, bedside tables, chest and a built in wardrobe. 

BEDROOM 3 has full size bunk beds, chest and shelves. There is a built in wardrobe in the hall. The beds will be made up with fresh linen for your arrival.

The FAMILY BATHROOM has a white suite of deep freestanding double ended bath, separate shower cubicle, WC and hand basin.

Garden & Parking

There is a very attractive enclosed garden in front of the property with lovely views of the river Teifi.

The garden has a small lawn area, prettily planted borders and gravel paths.

There is a covered patio area just outside the kitchen with a picnic bench - perfect for al-fresco dining.

The property is at the end of a cul de sac and has ample private parking for 2 cars and a boat

Gas central heating throughout.

Gas and electricity are included in the rental from May to September and charged at a flat rate of £35 at all other times.

Please pay when booking.

A complimentary basket of logs is included; thereafter they are available to buy locally.

Towels are available at £5 per guest.

A cot & highchair are available.

No smoking in the property.

Up to two well behaved pets are welcome.
